Welcome to the Pyontapi documentation!¶

Pyontapi is a Python implementation for the XML based NetApp Data ONTAP interface.

The advantage of Pyontapi is, that you don’t have to know much about the XML interface itself: Pyontapi generates Python methods for all API commands available on your storage system.

Pyontapi is licensed under LPGL and available on our download page.
